Counterintuitive: Driving Transformation Through Servant Leadership
Real, lasting change doesn’t come from titles or top-down directives — it comes from leaders who choose to serve first. This session explores the surprising ways humility, active listening, and putting others ahead of yourself create the strongest foundation for performance, trust, and shared ownership. Drawing on practical experience from 40 years as a senior executive in both the public and private sector, it highlights why the most effective path to meaningful transformation often runs straight through the counterintuitive practice of servant leadership.

Can Leaders Truly Make Employees Happy?
The modern workplace puts extraordinary pressure on leaders to be everything to everyone. But when leaders take on the unrealistic goal of "making employees happy," they often end up burned out and ineffective. In this session, we’ll explore a more sustainable approach rooted in intrinsic motivation, organizational culture, and purpose. Drawing from research and real-world insights, we’ll unpack what leaders can do to build thriving cultures—and why happiness isn't the job, but a byproduct of the right environment.
