In the Room
Let’s Elevate!! This month, I’m spotlighting Networking, the first stop on our ELEVATE journey together. For financial executives, a strong network is not a soft benefit alongside the job; it is indispensable to the job itself. Peers who have already navigated the system conversion you are facing, who can pressure-test a difficult board recommendation, who simply know who to call – that access is invaluable, and it is built deliberately over time, not assembled overnight.
At FEI Dallas, that network is the great professionals in the room: the collective knowledge, experience, and strategic insight of hundreds of the Metroplex’s best financial executives. There is mentorship to receive and to give, connections to the right expert for nearly any need, and access to the depth our sponsors bring to every event. This Power of Networking is core to FEI and is the standard to which we hold ourselves.
Be in the room, take full advantage of the benefits and growth, and ask a fellow financial executive to join you as a guest at a monthly meeting. Inviting professional colleagues grows the network and helps someone else the way our chapter has likely helped you.
Our committees have built a strong year of opportunities to do exactly that: our Monthly Chapter Meetings at The Clubs of Prestonwood, our Social Events, our Special Interest Groups, our Career Management meetings, and a full calendar of other in-person programming. Each is a different door into the same invaluable network. Choose what fits your calendar and bring a colleague – the strongest members of this chapter did not find us on their own; someone brought them into the room.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our many upcoming events in the new chapter year.
Mark Dendle FEI Dallas President 2026-27
