FEI Dallas Monthly Meetings are scheduled September to April, except December. Meetings are 4:00-8:00 p.m. starting with a Professional Development Session followed by the Networking Social and a sit-down Dinner Meeting/Keynote presentation. Meetings are open to FEI Dallas members and their guests, chapter sponsors, and prospective members and other non-members by invitation. Each meeting offers up to 2.5 CPE credits.

Navigating the Digital Frontier: Using Technology to Increase Corporate Value

Session 1: Technology for Business Benefits and Risk Management | 2 CPEs
This program session will present to finance leaders the latest in technological advances leading to increased corporate value. It is meant to address and identify where and how benefits to using corporations will come about. Panelists from GridSite Technology, IBM, OakTruss and Workday, led by moderator John Medelin, CTO, Mede-Arc, will discuss technologies and developments that affect data centers, business agility, AI, cybersecurity, modeling and ERP systems. Participants will leave with better insights of how contemporary developments will lead to increased efficiency and improved decisions. Protection and reduction of risk will be part of the discussion.

Session 2: Perspectives on Using New Technology | 2 CPEs
The second session of the morning will move to the perspectives of financial/executive officers as they use technology to build corporate appeal to investors. It will emphasize how basic developments (first session) are affecting tools, systems and platforms now available to help senior officers meet expanded responsibilities. Areas to be discussed include enhanced accessibility of real-time data, scalability and flexibility of platforms, and streamlined integrations/connections with ERP systems. This panel session is meant to provide a map of present and near-future technological solutions available to effect ongoing financial management, broadly defined, and increase corporate value.
